This is Zeus, he joined us from Better Blues in Florida in late April 2007. This little fellow has a massive pedigree behind him. I have always wanted to add some Camanna goats to my herd so adding this fellow was just a given. He's out of Oceana who's the daughter of Chaebree. I am very privileged to be adding his sister Hera to the herd too. Check out the linked pedigree below. You will see what I mean. I am very fond of the Megabuck daughters so to have him and Chaebree in his pedigree is just wonderful!

Zeus's dam Oceana has already completed two of her legs towards her championship! I feel extremely honored to have these two in my herd and cannot wait to see what they bring. I'm also extremely excited to see Hera's udder when she freshens for the first time. Hopefully in the spring of 2008. Zeus should be busy this fall breeding does so look for his kids in the fall of 2007.
Update on Zeus. He is maturing very well. He has entered his first rut and his personality has not wavered. He is still extremely affectionate and laid back. I could not be more pleased with his demeanor and friendliness. He is not pushy or rough. He is patient and sweet. He is ready to breed anytime I pen him with a doe but he doesn't try to rush me at the gate like some bucks do. I really do love this sweeties personality! I am very eager to see his first babies due in early December 2007. I will be keeping a doe or two of his.
