I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am with this doe. Just take a look at that udder! She has actually completed one leg in milk, but she was not tattooed so it was not official. Such a shame. She's stunning! Anna joined us from Buttin'Heads in Ohio. She decided to downsize her herd and we were just one of the lucky individuals who was blessed with some of her beauties. Thank you so much Sue! We will love her!

Anna is so sweet. She is a complete sweetheart and I love her to pieces. Anna is a doe I will never sell. She has the whole package going for her and being a senior too. Anna has been challenging to settle this fall. We started breeding her as soon as she began cycling in early September. Unfortunately, she came in heat again 3 weeks later and was bred again. Well this has happened 4 times now. So we're waiting and watching hoping she'll settle or possibly already has yet still flirts with the bucks. Fingers crossed!
Updated 2-23-08, Anna hasn't been in heat anymore since December. We have noticed her belly growing and have watched and waited for an udder to start filling but it hasn't. Not until now! We can't see much yet, but you can feel an udder developing! I plan to retain all doelings unless she gives me a litter of does. Then I will have to let some go. So watch for updates! I will likely retain a buckling as well, but that is not definite. I have too many bucks as it is right now. I cannot wait to see what she has and her udder in person!

5-2-08 Anna's udder 36 hours fresh. Please excuse the hair. She even has a patch at the bottom of the medial. So I will get new ones after I've had a chance to clip her as well.
