This black beauty is Barbie. She is joining us soon along with a buck named Calah. I hadn't set out to add anymore goats but I don't say no to Caesar's Villa goats either. So we're eager and excited to see this doe. She hasn't been bred this year so we plan to breed her for a fall kidding. More once she's here. |

Fuchsia was a buck-producer before she joined us. Luckily for us, that was broken on her first kidding here. She produced a gorgeous little gold doeling whom we named Golden Marinka. Golden Marinka is a variety of Fuchsia flowers. I hope the does keep coming each year. This year she gave us Brookwood Belle a tiny little black doeling. Unfortunately we are not positive who her sire is and we don't plan to DNA test so she will not be staying with us. Better luck next year bred to Revelation, Faith's son. Hoping for a doeling! Fuchsia is a gorgeous doe and her dam Flower Girl is stunning! See our reference does page for a picture of Fuchsia's dam Flower Girl. I am hoping that if Fuchsia herself doesn't produce that udder in her future freshenings, that perhaps her daughters or even sons can produce it. She has been scored at 86.9 Very Good and very dairy! She is an excellent brood doe but will not be one of our show string. She is not very friendly either.

Civil is
a big girl. She is the biggest doe in our herd and I do hope not
overheight. She is a lovely doe and herd queen. She freshened
here in February with a single buckling so we chose to breed her
back for another 2008 freshening. She has already dried and we
hope to milk her after her next freshening. She has huge easy to
milk teats which are a huge plus in my book. I love easy to milk
udders and teats! |
