Reference Udder Gallery

In an ongoing attempt to improve my herd I have chosen to keep an udder gallery of our does from their current freshenings on. If I have past udder photos of a given doe I will post those as well. This is strictly for my personal use and used to help evaluate my herd.
This page will be under construction throughout 2008 as I get pictures of my does udders and add them. This will be the first year we see many of our doe's udders and many will be first fresheners as well. Thank for looking! Hope we both learn something from it. ;~)

Anbonjo GO Black Rose Want to see a Green Gate Golden Oak daughter fresh? Here she is! Blossom's first freshening was pretty nice, and nice teat placement though a bit small. Her second freshening has produced the capacity we hoped for and greater height in the rear. Her teats are small though. |

Blossom needed a bit more height in the rear her first freshening and her teats were a big small. Her second freshening added the capacity which also helped with the height in the rear and her teats were a bit larger. Her teats were still just not big enough for my hands to comfortably milk so she was sold. | |

Better Blues Good 'N Plenty Nice width in the rear, could benefit from more height though. Nice sized teats for a first freshener. I think she could look greatly improved with another freshening. |

Better Blues HR Anna's Hera Hera is a first freshener. She has dried on one side so we do not have updated photos. New photos when she freshens again next year. |

Caesar's Villa P Faith I must say the small udder Faith had her first freshening made me wonder if she'd be a huge improvement on her second freshening. Well all I can say is WOW!!!! She gained the height and width in the rear as well as a lovely medial. |

Blessing's first freshening was in the dead of winter and very hair making photos practically pointless. Her second freshening however is clear how nice she is! Beautiful udder, huge easy to milk teats and a great fore udder extension and blending. Beautiful. | |
