Blue-eyes

We use to own Blue but have since sold him to Sherry in NJ. Blue was bred to Java and Blossom before he left. Java delivered Sandy in November and Blossom delivered twins, a buck and a doe in late March 2007. The doeling is solid jet black and blue-eyed and she was retained to our herd. The buckling is solid jet black. I am not sure yet if he will be retained.

Better Blues HR Anna's Zeus

DOB:  1-12-07 Time Owned April '07 to May '08
Sire:  Lacados JD My He-Roe Dam:  CH Camanna WR Ocean

I purchased Zeus in the spring of 2007 with his littermate sister Hera. We used him on a few does and the results were consistent and correct. Very nice wide kids with excellent escutcheons. I had to reduce my buck numbers so I offered Zeus up for sale. We do have one of his daughters in our herd as well as one of his sister's daughters. We are looking forward to seeing them freshen.

Little Tot's Estate Meadow-Rue

DOB:  10-17-06 Time Owned Feb '07 to Nov '08
Sire:  CH Little Tot's Estate Thalictrum Dam:  Kaapio Acres SF Gomphrena

I purchased Rue in very early 2007 with Minuet. I was so thrilled to get these two and both have exceeded my expectations. I used Rue heavily in the fall of 2007 on many of my does and as a result got quite a few kids from him. I retained 4 of his lovely daughters to my herd and felt it was time to let Rue move on to another farm. He excels in general appearance and is definitely a show prospect. I haven't had many opportunities to get to shows the past couple of years with my two small children so I do hope he can be shown by someone who can.

Polled & Moonspotted

I purchased Cruiser in October 2007 with Civil. I had seen him as a junior buck at a show (not being shown) and couldn't stop thinking about him. I was not in the market for another buck but soon found I had to have him anyway. He was so wide, uphill and correct. Not to mention polled and moonspotted. I have been pleased with him and his massive power house type style. He has given me several nice doelings and I do have one in my herd. Cruiser was not only a stunning show buck but also a winning personality.

Gypsy Moon HW Larkspur

DOB:  4-27-07 Time Owned July '07 to Oct '08
Sire:  DF Farms NH Hero Worship Dam:  Doublegate PAL Morning Glory

I was at a show with my good goat friend Teena Bagwell. She had Morning Glory with her, not to show, but because she was showing signs of going into labor. So we unloaded and watched Morning Glory. She delivered twins a doe and a buck. After seeing her udder I told her she had to sell the buck as a buck. Well wouldn't you know it. Weeks later he wound up coming home with me. As he matured I started seeing more and more I liked about him. Starting with his correct feet and legs and then his escutcheon and rear leg set. He's naturally uphill and LONG too. He is an all around great buck. He took Reserve Junior Champion Buck on 4-12-08. He was just shy of a yearling and the judge even commented about his width between his hocks. He is an excellent show buck. He could be a finished champion in no time. I had used Lark on 2 of my does resulting in 2 doelings and a buckling. I have retained one doeling to my herd. I have also bred another to him for a spring 2009 kidding. Hoping for doelings then too!
