I am thrilled to have this little doeling in our herd. I've been waiting on this kidding all winter and anxious to see our first Jumper babies! I am very pleased too! This beauty has been strutting her stuff already showing me why I've been so eager to have these babies born! The pedigree behind this doeling speaks for itself, but here's a run down on her immediate ancestors.
Her dam, Appleberry Cove Pumpkin Spice peaked at 15.9 pounds in 2008. She's already pumping the milk out. I'm eager to see how she milks once I get her up on the stand. Paprika's sire, Shady Lawn Just Jump-Start is out of a wonderful doe named West-Fork-Acres CT Juniper 1*M VEEE90. She was #3 in Protein, #4 in Milk Production in the 2009 Top Ten as a 3 year old, and she peaked at 19 pounds that year too. Her paternal granddam is CH Autumn-Acres Jazz's Jada VEEE90 who is a 4 time Best Udder doe and is also extremely productive! She was listed as one of the high producers at her farm! So to sum up, this doeling is packed with milk and should be a very productive milker herself in the future!
