This little doeling's dam has a huge gorgeous udder! If she freshens with an udder like her dam's she'll be something to behold. Nutmeg suffered a broken leg at 3 weeks of age. It healed and she is not lame but it did leave a spot on her leg which will prevent her from having a show career. We look forward to milking her and seeing her offspring here.
This doe is so sweet. I am head over heels for her. She is very gentle for such a big girl and has a heart of gold. I really do love this doe. She is reserved yet very affectionate and not pushy for love either. She tends to want to suck on your ears. She's just a total sweetheart.
Meg is bred to Cruiser for her first kidding. She will give us our first Mini-Mancha babies. Think of pink for doelings and think of earless! Haha! I am anxious to see these kids. I really love this doe and enjoy having her here with us. She's such a joy. I wish she could be shown. I think she has great confirmation and I'm sure she'll likely have a great udder too. More photos in the spring when I do the whole herd update. I'll try to set her up in the spring after being clipped and filled in. She may look a little funny due to her leg which didn't heal perfectly strait. But she's a beauty none the less.
Update 3-23-09, Meg kidded with a single gold buckling who's covered in moonspots and he has elf ears. He is too cute and incredibly sweet. I couldn't be more pleased with Meg's udder. She has a wide area of attachment and extremely high udder in the rear. She has very easy to milk teats and milks like a breeze. I really love how she's freshened. I will try to get better photos in a few more weeks.

7-18-08 Nutmeg at 4 months old after joining our herd.

6-23-09 Please bear in mind that Meg's rear left leg is not healed strait therefore she toes out due to the break and has a slight limp from the way it healed. She has no trouble getting around and had no trouble kidding or nursing with her buck kid this year.

3-23-09 Meg's first freshening udder almost 2 weeks fresh.

Here is her dam's udder...
