     Mariposa has exceeded my expectations just as Hallelujah did. She is uphill, wide and very dairy. I am also very pleased with her first freshening udder and wish I could have milked it to see its full potential. Mariposa's udder is very much like her dam's. I couldn't complain about her dam's udder at all. She had nice height and width in the rear attachments and fill as well as a nice foreudder and nice large, easy to milk teats. Mariposa resembles her dam remarkably in her udder with the only difference perhaps being that Mariposa has inherited larger teats. I can't wait to be able to milk her in due time.
     Mariposa has been rebred to J-Nels SQ River Birch for a Fall 2010 kidding. She will be 2 this Fall and since she wasn't able to completely fill her udder this Spring I felt that since she was so healthy and thriving so much, that she was fit to be bred again for Fall. Mariposa did show the potential for a stunning udder. She has great attachments, teat placement and texture. I am anxious to see her full and milk her.
