Ok, buyers choice and also my daughters pick of Raven's quads. She reminds her of Gwen so we are retaining this little beauty to the herd. I am very partial to black goats as it is and she is a stunner. She is so wide and correct. So this pretty little doeling is staying here. Her name follows the Harry Potter theme and of course because of her color.

     The udder on this doeling's dam is beautiful. I've seen lovely udder after lovely udder out of their sire. With Pappy as her sire I expect a gorgeous udder on this doe too. The milk production behind both lines is combined in a very correct doeling.
     I don't know if we will be breeding any of our 2011 juniors for Spring kids or not. I will have a LOT and I do mean LOT of first fresheners for 2012. Many are already going to be around two years old by freshening so I will likely hold over the 2011 doelings. They may be bred for Fall 2012 instead. Magic is planned to Fairlea Jean-Luc Picard *S for her first freshening. She's a Pappy daughter and these pedigrees should mesh really well. This doeling will be one to watch!
