Jasmine is a nice mini doe, she's about the same size as all my yearling
Nigerian Dwarf does, though she's younger then they are, but not a lot.
She's a nice doe with long plumb teats and I believe she'll freshen with
a lovely udder. Her dam has a very nice udder and her breeder said her
granddam had a great udder with excellent teats and texture. I can't
wait to see this girl fresh! If you look at the udders behind Mooshine,
it speaks well of what to expect out of Jasmine!
Jasmine is planned to be bred to Mooshine. The
resulting kids will be F3 Miniature Lamanchas. Their percentages will be
39.065% Lamancha and 60.935% Nigerian Dwarf. If the conform to breed
standard they will still be eligible to be registered as American. This
means that does can be elf or gopher eared, but bucks must be gopher to
be registered as American. Elf eared bucks will still be F3
Mini-Manchas, but not American. I am
anxious to see the results of this crossing and the new mini babies!
