     This black beauty is Barbie. Barbie is a reserved doe. Doesn't hesitate to check things out and loves treats. Barbie is out of the wonderful Caesar's Villa lines. I have a lot of Caesar's Villa in my herd so I was anxious to add Barbie too. I noticed immediately that she has great feet and legs and tremendous width throughout. She has a high and wide escutcheon and reminds me a great deal of Fuchsia. Barbie is an older doe though not old.
     Barbie was bred to Stedman. She did settle and delivered a single doeling! I am thrilled with my other two Stedman kids so far, Hallelujah and Revelation. Mariposa has already shown that she's following in her older sister and brother's hoof steps. So Mariposa was definitely retained.

11-3-08 Udder before kidding. Please excuse my butcher job on her udder hair cut. I wasn't doing it for looks, just to get the majority of hair off and clean her up for kidding. She was rather hairy.

Barbie's udder fresh. I milked her a while after kidding to keep her even and then let her kid take over. She kept her perfectly even. I will get appropriate, clean, clipped udder photos in the spring after she freshens.
